Quantitative analytics refer to the more numerical values of a post and or someone’s account , it measures the total follower count and tracks the rise and fall off this number over specific periods of time.
It allows the user to make decisions based on the real time data on their posts reach and engagement for example a post made at 5 pm was liked by 50 people and gained two new followers and 20 comments as opposed to a 2am post that received half that reaction.
So from this data the owner of the account can adjust when they post to maximise their exposure thus so driving more traffic to their profile and in turn increase their following and their ranking in the systems algorithm.
