What are diagnostic analytics?

Diagnostic analytics are essentially used to investigate what happened in past events what that influenced the outcomes of a specific post or campaign, typically as with other sources of analytics it is now all done by machine learning and AI. Diagnostic data can help identify issues across many areas but for this example I will use social media or website hits as a start point. The data from a diagnostic analytics can show issues that are not obvious straight away, it takes data from the descriptive analytics to ascertain the what happened before it can go on to asses why a event occurred. Diagnostic analytics can also help identify if an issue was a one off or a event that has happened in the past and the data should be able to influence your decision to change a part of your practice to maximise results.
